Sankt Meinolf

A fairy tale castle in Sauerland.

At only 3 kilometers drive from Amsterdam, Brussels, Hamburg or Leipzig, you’ll find the fairy tale Castle and Hunting Lodge Sankt Meinolf. The lodge is located in the heart of the Arnsbergerwald on the South bank of the Möhnesee.

Long history

The original Hunting Lodge was built in 1891 by Baron Conrad Hinrich II van Donner. In the year 1980 the extensions and the chapel next to the castle were built and in 2006 the hotel was reconstructed into a pleasantly modern hotel.

Modern but traditional

The 25 modern and comfortable hotel rooms are all furnished in a style in which you will recognize the long and rich history of the castle. The hotel offers a stylish gourmet restaurant, a cozy bar, a cellar with a great selection of wines and a large terrace with a splendid view.
